Nicole Haggerty joined ThinkRisk as it's President in October 2011, and is responsible for growing the ThinkRisk platform of products, programs and services.
Nicole has twenty years of experience in the insurance industry, most of which have been dedicated exclusively to the professional lines sector. Most recently, she held the position of SVP & National E&O Practice Lead for Allied World U.S and was responsible for all of Allied World's E&O product lines including: Insurance Agents & Brokers, Lawyers professional, Misc. E&O, Media, Technology and Network Security & Privacy products.
One of the original members of the Darwin Professional Underwriters management team, Nicole began her career at the Hartford as a claims adjuster and subsequently moved into handling toxic tort litigation. She joined Executive Risk (now Chubb Specialty Insurance) in 1995 where she expanded her expertise into underwriting, product development and program management. She held a senior-level position with a Connecticut-based MGU before helping to launch Darwin Professional Underwriters in 2003. Nicole established and headed Darwin's E&O division, managed the Professional Governmental Underwriters program, managed and helped build their proprietary web-based underwriting system known as (i-bind)® for a variety of professional lines products.
Nicole has extensive MGA experience including acting as all lines MGA for Wausau's package program for schools and municipalities; ACE's volunteer firefighters program and Gulf's insurance agents and miscellaneous professional liability programs.
Nicole attended Michigan State University in 1986 and earned the Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation.

Reza Khan joined ThinkRisk in September 2011 as Executive Vice President. Reza has twenty eight years of experience in the insurance industry, primarily in the professional lines sector.
Reza began his career as an underwriter at American International Group in 1983. He was recruited by the Berkely Group in 1985 to help launch national E&O programs for Accountants and Lawyers. He went on to help build Berkely's travel industry E&O program for travel agents, tour operators and cruise lines.
Following Aon's acquisition of Berkely in 1995, Reza joined sister company Media/Professional Insurance in 2001 as Senior Vice President of Business Development and led sales and marketing efforts targeting media, technology, insurance agents and miscellaneous E&O products in the U.S. and Canada.
In 2005, Reza was a founding member of Specialty Global, an MGU specializing in miscellaneous, technology and travel agents E&O. He joined Darwin Professional Underwriters in 2006 holding a number of executive positions including helping design an industry leading web-based underwriting system known as (i-bind)® with a focus on professional lines products.
Following Allied World's acquisition of Darwin in 2008, Reza built and led Allied World's national Business Development practice. Most recently, Reza led Allied World's Program division.
Reza attended the College of Insurance in New York in 1982 for his Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) degree and has earned the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

LauraCorogenes Senior Vice President, Underwriting

Laura Corogenes joined ThinkRisk in February, 2012, bringing with her over thirty years experience in the insurance industry.
Laura began her career at Marsh, advancing to Senior Account Manager. She was responsible for insurance product placements, the implementation and oversight of alternative risk financing and the management of a core group of media and technology risks.
In 1990, Laura joined Media/Professional Insurance (M/PI) where she focused on underwriting media-related risks, with a special emphasis in publishing and broadcasting holding companies, and advertising agencies. Laura served as M/PI's Technology Practice Leader, assisting with the development of the industry's first "Cyberliability" policy, and managed several early internet and converging media/technology risks. At the time of her departure in 2004, Laura served as Senior Vice President of M/PI, responsible for the overall management of the company's complete product portfolio, insurance and reinsurance company relationships and underwriting staff.
In 2004, Laura was one of the founders of Specialty Global Insurance, which offers unique E&O products to the wholesale marketplace. As Director of Underwriting, her responsibilities included; product development, establishment of all guidelines, procedures and underwriting philosophy, development and maintenance of insurance and reinsurance company relationships and oversight of underwriting staff. Laura was also involved in building a unique underwriting platform, created specifically to underwrite and manage MPL business.
In 2010 Specialty Global became a division of the Capitol Insurance Companies. Laura served as Capitol's Director of Professional Liability Underwriting.
Laura attended Webster College and Kansas University.
